Terms of Use

Effective:2026-11-13 · Version 1.0

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using hkesc.com.hk (the “Website”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.

2. Who we are

The Website is operated by HKCSC LIMITED (trading as “Hong Kong Enterprise Service Centre (HKESC)” / “香港企業服務中心”), Business Registration No. 76839255, Trust or Company Service Provider licence no. TC010205. We are not a government body, and we do not represent or act as agent for the Companies Registry, the Inland Revenue Department, the Immigration Department or any other government department. Our TCSP licence covers only trust or company services as defined in the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (Cap. 615); it does not mean that the Companies Registry or the Government endorses our other services. We are not a law firm or a firm of practising accountants.

3. Website content

Content on the Website is general information only and is not legal, tax, accounting, immigration or investment advice (see the Disclaimer). We aim to keep it accurate, but government fees, laws and procedures change; the latest government announcements prevail.

4. Prices and quotations

The Website has no online checkout or ordering. Prices shown are starting prices for reference only and are not an offer. A “starting price” is the price of the most basic service package, and that basic service can actually be obtained at that price. Some products are priced in RMB; HKD and USD amounts on the Website are converted at the rate of the date shown and are for reference only. Actual charges are set out in our written quotation or service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude government fees.

The service term, any automatic renewal, deposits, cancellation and refund arrangements, and the charges and conditions for mail handling (including receipt, notification, forwarding and storage period) are set out in the written quotation or service agreement and will be made clear to you before you engage us.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information; not to use the Website or our services for any unlawful purpose (including money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud); and not to interfere with the Website, upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access.

6. Intellectual property and automated access

  1. Copyright: all text, images, layouts and logos on the Website are © HKCSC LIMITED (or its licensors) and protected by the Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528).
  2. Trade mark: the HKESC® logo is a registered trade mark in Hong Kong (no. 307146108, classes 35 and 39).
  3. No reproduction: you may not copy, republish, frame, mirror, modify or commercially use Website content without our prior written consent.
  4. Automated access: bulk scraping or data mining of the Website is prohibited, except indexing by search engines and AI search services for search or citation purposes as permitted by our robots.txt. This permission does not authorise commercial republication or use to build competing services or datasets.

The Website links to third-party services (including WhatsApp, WeChat, Google Maps, Amap and government websites). They are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71) and the Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance (Cap. 457)), or affects your rights under the Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362) or other laws.

Our liability for the services we provide (including registered address, mail handling and company secretarial services) is governed by the terms of the relevant service agreement.

9. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. Revisions take effect when posted on the Website, but do not apply retrospectively or affect existing service agreements; we will give reasonable prior notice of material changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. If the Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English versions differ, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.

11. Electronic communications

You agree that we may communicate with you and deliver notices, quotations and documents electronically (including by email, WhatsApp and WeChat). Under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553), such electronic records and electronic signatures (where applicable) have the same legal effect as written documents, except where the law requires another form.

12. Customer due diligence and refusal of service

As a licensed trust or company service provider, we must carry out customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring before and during a business relationship under Schedule 2 to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (Cap. 615). If a client cannot provide the information or documents required, or we reasonably suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions breaches, we may decline to establish, or terminate, the business relationship without giving reasons (except where disclosure is prohibited by law).

13. Enquiries and complaints

For any enquiry or complaint about the Website or our services, please contact us using the details in section 11 of our Privacy Policy. We will acknowledge receipt and reply as soon as possible.
